My dad moved our family from Danville, Va to Raleigh, NC when I was 12 years old where I graduated from Millbrook High School. A year after graduation, I married Vickie, my high school sweetheart and we moved to Nashville, TN where we lived for 15 years and where our sons, Shaun & Brandon were born. While there, I attended Middle Tennessee State University to major in Business Management & Management of Human Resources.
After living in Tennessee for 15 years, we returned to NC to be closer to aging parents.
My wife, Vickie and I , along with our 2 sons, moved into Mitchell Acres in November of 2000, 19 years ago!
When our boys grew up, they moved back to Nashville and we now have a daughter-in-law and 2 grandsons there as well. So we make frequent road trips in that direction. We also have a niece close by who is like a daughter to us. Her 3 children are also grandchildren to us, so a lot of our free time is spent having fun with these little guys!
I am a 20+ year veteran of the Real Estate Industry.
I have a solid foundation of clients and a good record of successfully guiding clients through the selling or buying process. I have assisted clients with the purchase of existing homes, and have also worked through the custom building process to create the home of their dreams.
I strongly believe in continuing education.
In 2016, I decided to hit the RESET button on my Real Estate Career and have so far logged 50+ hours training, learning and refining my craft so that I can better serve my clients. I continue that with 1 - 2 classes or educational events every week!
In 2017, I was tapped by a local Real Estate School and asked to teach Pre-licensing courses to new agents. I went thru all the Certifications and required approval by the NC Real Estate Commission, although I am not currently teaching due to extreme time demands of that profession.
Real Estate is a very personal, face to face business.
